Privacy Policy
Last Updated: April 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains the information collection, use, and sharing practices of ADHD Planner (“we,” “us,” and “our”).
Unless otherwise stated, this Policy describes and governs the information collection, use, and sharing practices of ADHD Planner with respect to your use of our website, browser extension, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Before you use or submit any information through or in connection with the Services, please carefully review this Privacy Policy. By using any part of the Services, you understand that your information will be collected, used, and disclosed as outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this privacy policy, please do not use our Services.
Our Principles
ADHD Planner is built for neurodivergent minds, and we believe privacy is paramount to peace of mind. We have designed this policy to be consistent with the following principles:
- Privacy policies should be human-readable and easy to find.
- Data collection, storage, and processing should be minimized. The core functionality of our browser extension operates entirely locally on your device using Local Storage.
- Data practices should meet the reasonable expectations of users.
Information We Collect
We collect information in multiple ways, including when you provide information directly to us, and when we passively collect information from you (such as from your browser while visiting our landing page).
Information You Provide Directly to Us
We will collect any information you provide to us directly. For example, when you contact us via email info [@] planadhd.com for support or feedback. This information may include your email address and any content you include in your message.
Information that Is Automatically Collected (Website Analytics)
When you visit our landing page website, we may automatically collect certain information about the device you use to access the Services. We may use third-party analytics providers and technologies (such as Google Analytics or similar tools) to assist in collecting this information to understand how users find our extension.
This collected data may include:
- Device information such as masked IP addresses, general location information (by country and city), browser types, browser language, and operating system.
- Usage data such as referring URLs, the number of clicks, landing pages viewed, time spent on particular pages, and the date and time you used the website.
The Browser Extension: Local Storage Only
Crucially, the ADHD Planner Chrome Extension itself does NOT collect, transmit, or store your personal task data on our servers. All tasks, goals, schedules, and Pomodoro timer settings you create within the extension are saved locally on your own device using your browser's Local Storage API. We have no access to your task lists or private brain dumps.
Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
Our landing page uses Internet server logs and online tracking technologies, like cookies, to perform searches and analytics. A cookie is a small text file placed on your computer that enables us to understand which web pages you have visited and gauge the effectiveness of our marketing. You can change your browser settings to block cookies altogether.
How We Use Your Information
We may use the limited information we collect from and about you (primarily website analytics and support emails) to:
- Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
- Conduct analytics, research, and reporting to derive insights on how to improve our landing page and extension features.
- Comply with the law and protect the safety, rights, property, or security of ADHD Planner.
When We Disclose Your Information
Because the extension stores your tasks locally, we have no user task data to disclose. However, for website analytics and operational data, we may disclose information under the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We may share data with third parties who perform services on our behalf, such as data analysis (e.g., Google Analytics) and website hosting.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or to respond to legal processes.
- Business Transfers: If we sell or transfer our assets to a third party, operational data would likely be transferred.
Online Analytics
We may use third-party web analytics services (such as Google Analytics) on our landing page. To prevent Google Analytics from using your information for analytics, you may install the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Children
The Services are intended for users over the age of 18 and are not directed at children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from children under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as practicable.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We will continue to evaluate this Privacy Policy as we update and expand our Services, and we may make changes accordingly. We will post any changes here and revise the "Last Updated" date above.
